Vijus complex contains:
Closed-Pool (indoor) with their respective facilities
Outdoor swimming pools with their respective facilities
The first part is the indoor pools which are accessed by the new plaza on the west side of the site. In the lobby it is found the access to offices and general direction and the reception. After the access control area there is the locker area, showers and bathrooms and eventually the path towards the area of the pools. In the event that takes place a sports competition, you can use the stairs to the stands.
The area is divided into several pools: a pool for competitions on the entrance level next to the seating zone that lead to the upper floor where the pool for children is located. On the first floor are also the bar which can be accessed from the lobby and through the main stairs or lift. Also on this floor are the gym, sauna, solarium, etc.
The space of the pool has a glass facade that allows both visual and physical communication to the outdoor pools. The architectural concept was adapted to the qualities of the terrain and the close proximity of the river Sava. The volume has been treated as a closed element to the north and west, and completely open to the south and east through the glass facade which connects the building with the surrounding landscape.
